Twenty years ago, Bentley opened a new chapter in its history with the Continental GT, just after Volkswagen had taken over the company. Now, two decades later, Bentley is honoring the legacy with an impressive new edition - and what a! The 2003 Continental GT was a revelation to many and cemented Bentley's position as a brand of luxury and performance. Last week, at "The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering" As part of the Monterey Car Week, Bentley took the opportunity to present the very first example of the model, VIX20001, proud to present. Yet the show was stolen when its latest equivalent, a 2023 Continental GT, was revealed.

With a touch of nostalgia but also a modern twist, the new version keeps that Cypress Green Lack, which was introduced in 2003. But it's the detail and craftsmanship of the interior that really impresses. The Saddle leather, combined with Burr walnut decor, reminiscent of the class and style of the original. But Bentley has, through its in-house customization department Mulliner, taking the interior to a new level: Accents and contrast stitching in "Special Green" ensure that the Saddle seats really stand out.
The combination of open-pored and high-gloss dark Burr walnut veneer, separated by a cypress green Pin stripe line, gives the car an unprecedented elegance. And the exterior has not been neglected either. With the Blackline, touring and styling details the GT exudes a majestic presence. The carbon should be emphasized here front splitter, the side skirts and the diffuser. But they are the real eye-catchers 22-inch Dark Gray Satin wheels, which give the coupé an imposing stance.
