Hardly a BMW we get so rarely to face as the 5er Gran Turismo of the F07 series. We ourselves have so far only once over one discreetly refined 3 Gran Turismo reported, but so far never about a tuned 5 Series GT. But that changes today when we present "TheBlackGT". A pitch black F07 550i GT LCI with a carbon body kit, lowering and a stylish set of wheels. The 5 Series is part of the company Corsa car design who specialize in wrapping vehicles. And of course the GT got a full wrap from the professionals. In addition to the matt black basic color, which also shimmers orange depending on the incidence of light, there are also glossy black accents and some silver applications on the body. The lines of the foiling even ensure that the first glance suggests that the 5 Series has received a widebody kit.

This is but not the case. Nevertheless, the aerodynamic parts are quite huge and provide a completely new look. The factory M-bumper front robbed the fog lights and also built a huge carbon splitter and 4 side mounted carbon canards. The side skirts are equipped with distinctive side skirts from NJCustom and the rear end has also changed significantly. There is an aggressive carbon rear diffuser and a spoiler lip in duck-tail style. The small roof spoiler does not come from the accessories but comes with the 5er GT directly from the factory. Of course, the diffuser also sports a sports exhaust system. Here one decided for a system of SOUL performance that impresses with tailpipes in carbon and a huge soundscape.

And a visual highlight is of course the striking wheelset. Here are copper-colored Litespeed Racing GT5 forged wheels whose spokes wear an elegant carbon look. The forged wheel sits absolutely precise in the wheel housing by means of a significant lowering and gives the 5er a dynamic appearance. The GT has also received countless other small details. For example, there is the fact that I have no chrome on the vehicle. Everything shines either in the noble carbon, was foiled or high-gloss black painted. Even the taillights and the inlay of the headlights are darkened and the same applies to the glazing all around. The 5er should be as bleak as possible and draw attention only by the colored alloy wheels and a few more accents.

And that is exactly the team of Corsa car design succeeded. The black front looks extremely evil with the dark headlamps and thanks to the heavy lowering of the GT has also filed the global optics for the most part. An ultimate example of the fact that the 5er of the F07 (GT) series is completely ignored, sometimes even excluded, by the tuning industry.
