The Champions Choice: H & R Sport Springs for the BMW M5 Competition

With an engine output increased to 625 hp and a special chassis set-up that also includes the adaptation of all control systems, the BMW M5 Competition moves to pole position in the 305 series at 5 km / h Vaumax. The owner of this copy, who incidentally also knows about the qualities of the H&R suspension products professionally, wanted something more and so the development of the now available sport springs came about. The suspension experts from BMW Motorsport technology partner H&R agreed that there was still something going on, and they got started. Carefully matched to the modification of the standard chassis, the forged wheels are now 20 millimeters lower in the wheel arches. It not only looks good, it also feels good: The lower center of gravity and the H&R-typical spring characteristics make themselves felt in terms of driving dynamics through even more "bite" when turning without sacrificing the necessary driving comfort.

The H&R chassis professionals recommend “Trak +” wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminum, which ensure a further increase in performance as well as optics, for aligning series and retrofit wheels with millimeter precision on the wheel arch edges. Parts reports for easy entry in the vehicle documents are just as much on the agenda at H&R as “100% Made in Germany”! Of course, there are also sporty chassis components for the "normal M5" as well as for many other BMW models in the H&R range.
