Brabus tunes the eco-friendly Benz Mercedes S 500 plug-in hybrid

news from the tuning company Brabus. The latest creation that we encountered from the hallowed halls of Brabus is a modified Mercedes S 500 plug-in hybrid that now delivers a proud 50 PS and 500 NM using the Brabus PowerXtra B890 Hybrid performance kit. After dealing with the Brabus Rocket 900 based on the S-Class has shown again what is possible, now the bad ecological conscience seems to have taken hold for a short time. We already know a few details about tuning the Mercedes S 500 plug-in hybrid. What we have learned we have listed below for you in a small summary.

These are the details we know about the Mercedes S 500 plug-in hybrid:

  • + 52 PS and 70 Newton meters
  • Performance kit: PowerXtra B50 Hybrid (special maps for injection and ignition + moderately increased boost pressure)
  • 500 PS
  • up to 890 Newtonmeter torque
  • 4,9 seconds on Tempo 100
  • Stainless steel sports exhaust system with four tailpipes
  • Monoblock alloy wheels in 19, 20, 21 and 22 inches
  • completely new front bumper with large air intakes
  • Design element made of carbon fiber in the fenders at the front with optional Brabus logo and LEDs
  • Rear spoiler lip (on request in carbon look)
  • Rear bumper with integrated diffuser
  • Lowered 15 millimeters
  • Tuning costs: 40.000 Euro
