Bulldog Racing Team with MINI JCW to the 24-hour race!

The MINI JCW from the Bulldog Racing Team won the hearts of the spectators at the 24 2022-hour race at the Nürburgring. Unfortunately, during the 40th lap, he was battered on the passenger side, resulting in serious damage. You had to end the race early. But now the JCW is back for the "second round at the ring". The #112 Bulldog Racing MINI will compete in the SP3T class of this year's 24 Hours, but it won't be exactly the same car as last year. Some modifications have been made to make the Mini even more competitive. Of course, all changes were made according to the SP3T class rules.

The modifications include a Supersprint exhaust with a racing catalytic converter, which ensures optimized exhaust gas routing and increased performance. In addition, an Eventuri carbon air intake was installed and the weight was reduced. The 17-inch Motec Ultralight wheels with Michelin tires not only improve road holding, but also ensure better grip on the racetrack. The upgrade package is rounded off by AP racing brakes, which ensure improved braking performance and thus shorter braking distances.

Driver team remains partly intact

By the way, three of last year's riders are back, but there's also a new one. Uwe Krumscheid (GER), Danny Brink (GER) and Markus Fischer (AUT) are already known, with Marco Zabel (GER) being “the new one”. The four have already covered 715.000 kilometers on the Nürburgring, with a total of 35 race starts in the 24-hour race. And the Bulldog Racing Team will not only have the #112 car on the track. There will also be a MINI Cooper John Cooper Works special edition with a six-speed manual gearbox, competing in the VT2-FWD class. Behind the wheel will be Charlie Cooper, the grandson of John Cooper who started the old Cooper and the John Cooper Works Racing Team.
