It has now been almost two years since Porsche presented the comprehensive facelift of the 2015 (991.2 Carrera and 911 Carrera S) at the 911 IAA. The biggest construction site was definitely the change in terms of the engine. With immediate effect, for the first time in the history of the 911 Carrera, a turbo engine instead of a naturally aspirated engine provides propulsion and the active chassis PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), which was previously available at an extra charge, is now available as standard. The chassis has also been improved compared to its predecessor. But better has proven to be not good enough for the H&R team. The engineers at the suspension specialist H&R have set to work to develop tailor-made sport springs for the entire 991 series (Carrera to Turbo S).

They are perfectly matched to the respective chassis layout as well as the cooperation with the standard dampers. The springs cover the entire 991 model range in four different versions: Depending on the model, the chassis in the sporty H&R suit is between 25 and 30 millimeters lower. Visually, this is of course a treat due to the already sporty body shape. The springs ensure an even more dynamic and individual appearance of the 911 with the remaining spring travel unchanged due to the lower position of the wheels. The H&R spring characteristics and the lowered center of gravity, the lower roll tendency and the significantly more direct steering behavior automatically increase the driving pleasure when cornering.

Regardless of whether it is a convertible or a coupe, a Carrera, Carrera 4, Targa or Turbo S, every model benefits from the new sport springs. The optional H&R sport stabilizers and the well-known "Trak +" wheel spacers provide that last bit of optics and driving fun. With the exception of the Carrera GTS and the two turbo versions, the sport stabilizers are now available for the entire model range, including vehicle-specific reports. With regard to the “Trak +” wheel spacers, 10 to 36 millimeters per axle are no problem for all 11 series variants.
