With the Škoda Kodiaq, the Czechs are now entering the field of SUVs for the second time after the Škoda Yeti. The distinctive name "Kodiaq" comes from the Kodiak bear, which is a subspecies of the brown bear. This genus is native to the island of Kodiak and also on the neighboring islands of the south coast of Alaska. Only a short time after its market launch, the 4,70 meter SUV found a lot of fans and is very popular. The highlight of the Kodiaq is the elegant design and the really high-quality overall concept that Škoda has conveyed with every type of vehicle in recent years. Only the “bearish” sporty appearance of the VW Tiguan brother should be a bit bigger. This is exactly what the suspension professionals at H & R thought and developed special sport springs for the Kodiaq to customize the series suspension. Anyone who is familiar with this area will immediately see that the body looks much sportier than the standard production model after installing the springs.

The reason is a lowering of approx. 25 millimeters, which ensures that the noble sports bikes are more full in the wheel arches with plenty of remaining spring travel. But the setup should not only look good, it should also drive well. And so the sport springs with their specially coordinated spring characteristics ensure that the Czechs benefit from a substantial plus in driving dynamics. If things are going to be a bit sportier in curvy terrain, the Kodiaq is now doing much better. Anyone interested can order the new sport springs, including a vehicle-specific report, with immediate effect. And the well-known “Trak +” wheel spacers are also available for Kodiaq owners. H&R thus enables the series or retrofit wheels to be precisely aligned with the outer lines of the wheel arches. They are available in the dimensions 6 to 60 millimeters per axle and there is also a certificate for this.
