With a length of 4.450 mm, a width of 1.839 mm and a height of 1.511 mm, it offers a lavish feeling of space and, despite its coupé shape, sufficient headroom for all occupants. In view of its wheelbase of 2.680 mm, there is not only enough space for the passengers in the back seat, but also with luggage space of 450 liters. The visual emphasis is on the rear of the crossover with its continuous light strip, which underlines the sporty appearance. At the same time, the dynamic proportions of the vehicle come into their own through the length of the hood. Its sporty character is underlined by the 19-inch alloy wheels with Brembo brake system, which are also available in copper. In addition to the four soft and metallic paintwork (Urban Silver, Midnight Black, Magnetic Tech or Candy White), the CUPRA Formentor is also available in three special colors (Graphene Gray, Dark Camouflage and Desire Red) and in two matt color options (Petrol Blue, Matt and Magnetic Tech Matt) available. The exclusive matt paintwork puts even more emphasis on the striking elegance and distinctive personality.
Interior: the contemporary vision of sportiness
The distinctive exterior design of the CUPRA Formentor is consistently continued in the equally modern and sporty interior. Even before boarding, the passengers of the CUPRA Formentor are welcomed by the welcome light projected onto the floor. As soon as you take a seat in the car, you will find yourself surrounded by high-quality materials, copper details and highlights in brushed dark aluminum. The bucket seats covered with leather, available in petrol blue and black, offer the driver ergonomically optimized driving comfort and underline the sporty character with excellent lateral support. The seemingly floating dashboard with its full-LED ambient lighting running across the entire front and along the doors not only serves as a stylistic element of the vehicle, it also offers a range of safety functions, such as the blind spot assistant or the exit assistant. In addition, the dashboard is supplemented by a 12-inch panoramic floating screen with online navigation functions, which gives passengers access to a wide range of the latest connectivity options and simplifies them with the reduced number of switches and buttons. Also on board is the digital cockpit, which displays all information in a clear manner. A new steering wheel contains the engine start button and the selection button for CUPRA mode.
Drives: performance for the future
The CUPRA Formentor comes on the market with two high-performance motorization concepts that perfectly express the sporty claim of the brand. The sporty soundscape further increases the emotional appearance of the CUPRA Formentor. The drive concepts benefit from a specially coordinated dual clutch transmission (DSG) and the 4Drive all-wheel system. With Shift-byWire technology, the shift lever is no longer mechanically connected to the transmission, but electronically.
