There will probably never be a "C" like this again. The last and still most current generation of the C-Class as AMG C 63 S. with 510 hp from a four-liter twin-turbo V8 is history and the successor will probably only come with one four cylinders come on the market. Halving the cylinders from one model generation to the next is really hard for AMG fans, as we think. A six-cylinder BiTurbo would still have been justifiable as a “transition”. But a four-cylinder? Again a "firecracker" with Poff poff and Bang Bang and Babble babble in the style of VW Golf R, BMW M135i or A45 AMG also on our roads. A pity… The future is gloomy and acoustically tinny and monotonous! But apart from the turbo four-cylinder madness with any plugged-in electric motors as hybrids, there are also good old used cars with "real engines". The Mercedes specialists from the Swabian town of Waiblingen have this AMG C 63 S (W205) with the so-called PowerModule (Additional control unit to increase performance) missed a significant boost in performance.
