Floating Motors wants to hit the water with old classics!

Who has always dreamed of having a classic car like this Jaguar E-Type, the old one Mini or one Porsche Spyder 550 Swimming across the Mediterranean, the Baltic Sea or Lake Constance may soon find a solution. The first computer retouching shows how it could work. And the idea is better than you might think at first. The company is behind the train of thought Floating motors (Joint venture between Jet Capsule Srl and Lazzarini design) and they actually want to bring the unmistakable driving fun of the oldis in connection with the classic shapes on the water. And best of all, you do NOT want to convert historical vehicles for them, but instead manufacture appropriately shaped boat hulls from state-of-the-art materials. They should be based on the design of the classics and on one Catamaran superstructure put on. And that either with floats or with so-called hydrofoil fins. Floating Motors would like the substructure in five different lengths offer between three and 7,5 meters and basically every vehicle replica seems conceivable.

On the water with old classics?

You can then combine the superstructures with Outboard engines, Jet engines and the hydrofoils get one Propeller as a drive. The "La Dolce" and the "la foil"With the look of the classic Fiat 500, the British Mini is given the nickname"minimums"And if you want a VW T1 Bulli Bus, you have to go to the"Westie" questions. Other ideas are the Jaguar E-Type as "La Perla", the "The Fast“Based on the Porsche 550 Spyder optics and various other superstructures that have not yet been given a name. It will be interesting to see whether the project can actually be implemented. In any case, we like the core idea. If we get more information about the, there is of course an update for this report. Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
