640 PS go Off-road: Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato Concept

Here comes the ultimate boost of Audi TT Safari The 400 PS off paved slopes to produce sports car feeling and was issued for the Wörtherseetreffen 2019 in Reifnitz. Here it is Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Concept, that probably brings a completely new dimension of off-road driving fun. After all, the base model of the acidic Huracan Evo is the impressive 640 PS & 600 NM generated from the well-known 5,2 liter V10 naturally aspirated engine. With an acceleration of 2,9 seconds to 100 km / h, it is as fast as that performant and even in the sprint to 200 km / h, the orgy of acceleration is almost identical. A bit like the Lamborghini Jarama and the Urraco from Lamborghinis test driver Bob Wallace, who decades ago were a combination of high-performance vehicles and off-road capability. Over 40 years later, the Huracan now enjoys off-road capabilities.

The Sterrato Concept also has the integrated vehicle dynamics system LDVI of the EVO (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) which controls the all-wheel drive, the all-wheel steering, the modified suspension and the torque vectoring controls. It anticipates the driver's behavior, guaranteeing perfect driving dynamics on loose ground and, of course, off-road. The LDVI system is designed with improved rear-wheel drive behavior and more torque for maximum drive and best acceleration in the sterrato to guarantee, In addition, the vehicle is automatically stabilized when oversteer. But in order for the Huracán Evo to make any progress on the ground, things had to change a lot on the chassis, the wheels and the bodywork. The sport suspension of the EVO has been increased by 47 millimeters and the slope angle at the front axle has been increased by 1% and at the rear by 6,5%.

And these changes also make the new wheel-tire combination possible. Because are now installed matt black 20 forged wheels (and also golden 20 Zöller) with balloon tires on the bizarre off-road concept. The wide tires have been specially designed for the Sterrato and have larger flanks to improve the absorption of bumps and allow more grip. All in combination with the already mentioned new suspension and the LDVI system. And the bodywork is anything but series. Underbody, front frame and the side skirts are reinforced with aluminum elements and there was a diffuser with dual function. On the one hand it protects the rear area from damage from below, but on the other it also acts as a classic aerodynamic element.

could also be a police vehicle from Dubai

Particularly striking is the LED light package with two large floodlights at the front and one on the roof made of composite body. And the interior has got a sporty terrain character. Here you can install a roll cage made of titanium in the Italian and driver and passenger sit in ultra-light adjustable carbon sports bucket seats with four-point belts. In addition there are aluminum floor plates so that the rustic charm of the Huracán Sterrato Concept (2019) is rounded off. If we receive timely information about the Sterrato there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is just ours Feed subscribe to.
