We really want to show you this monster! At the recent Sema Auto Show, this completely redesigned and restored Land Rover Defender 90 (short version - Mj. 1991 - VIN: SALLDVAR7HA704348) which houses a 6,2-liter V8 from GM under the hood. Specifically, it is an LSA supercharged V8 (compressor) that conjures up almost five times the output of the factory 564 PS diesel in the off-roader with insane 5 PS. The vehicle was from the "Fusion Motor Company"And of course also received a special aluminumIntercooler, a hand-made exhaust system with X-Pipe and double sidepipes and even a stainless fuel tank with a special gasoline pump could not be missing. The oversized engine was coupled to a GM 6L80 6-speed automatic (4WD) and thus ensures an absolutely contemporary driving behavior.

Fox 2.0 damper for lifting

And everything else is up to date. For example, the Defender received a chassis with Fox 2.0 dampers, there were 18-inch black alloy wheels on Toyo Open Country (M / T 33X | 2.50R | 8 LT) tires and the front apron with Cerakote Underrun protection and the rear apron are specially made for this car. The Defender D500 Soft Top, which was only built 90 times, should therefore be an absolute one-off. And this is also underpinned by the paintwork in the Audi color Suzuki gray and the striking fender flares made of real carbon. And atypical for a Defender, there was even more carbon. The large grille is made of the ultra-light material and the same applies to the headlight trim or the air intakes in the fenders.

Fusion X LED xenon headlights

7-inch (approx. 18 cm) Fusion X LED xenon headlights provide sufficient lighting and the clear glass taillights are also equipped with modern LED technology at the rear. Incidentally, these are OEM SVX LED lights directly from Land Rover. And of course everything is custom in the cabin too. The Fusion Motor Company uses two lightweight Recaro Sportster CSBucket seats in the front, in the back there were two individual seats with sporty ones Five-point belts and is steered with a simple 14 inch three-spoke steering wheel. And here too there were plenty of carbon parts. Noteworthy is the complete center console, the door panels and even the vehicle floor is lined with carbon. And the powerful sound system is also worth mentioning.

Alpine audio conversion with over 1000 watts

When the V8 is not running at full load, the Landi radiates sound, the cabin and the environment with a complex Alpine audio conversion that delivers over 1.000 watts of power and amenities such as Apple Car Play, a JL power amplifier and even a reversing camera. Countless small details such as the carbon exterior mirror, the black painted Roll cage, the integrated outside temperature display including compass, the brand new instrument cluster and of course the swiveling, fully-fledged spare wheel at the rear round off the one-off impressively.
