A self-sufficient Mercedes Sprinter? Vanlife makes it possible!

This Sprinter-based Mercedes all-wheel-drive camper can even be self-sufficient if required. The so-called Escape concept the Vanlife Manufaktur from Erfurt is to a certain extent the heir to the Concept 0.1. An all-wheel drive camper suitable for off-road use, which uses the previous generation of the current Mercedes Sprinter (W 906) as its base vehicle. But this is not an obligation! Alternatively, the current Sprinter (W 907), the VW Crafter or the technically identical MAN TGE can be expanded individually according to customer requirements. The presented concept vehicle impresses with a modern interior design with many real wood elements whose floor plan we already know from Concept 0.1. The sleeping area with a transverse bed in the rear (140 x 190 cm bed) is also included here and if the arrangement does not suit you, you can also have a lengthways bed built in.

plenty of storage space thanks to wall cabinets

We don't know whether the rear garage under the bed will offer the same amount of storage space. The Escape Concept has a lot of storage space by means of various wall cabinets, there is a large cutlery drawer, a drawer for pots, a pharmacist pull-out and also a kitchen cabinet with a waste bin. It continues with a kitchenette with a 65 liter fridge-freezer, there is also a two-burner gas cooker and a stainless steel sink is included. And the work surface can even be covered with a wooden panel, making it a little bigger. Although there was no more space for a bathroom, the outdoor shower with hot water function from an 84-liter fresh water tank should also serve its purpose.

Solar system u. Diesel parking heaters are optional

The Escape Concept has a 20 liter waste water tank under the kitchen sink and opposite the kitchen unit is a bench for stowing the Porta Potti toilet. Many details such as a small folding table, the large swivel table, the bench that can be converted into a dinette, etc. make the Escape Concept a real camper. But if you really want to camp independently, you need the optional solar system, diesel parking heater and a hot water boiler should also be there. If we receive more details about the Escape Concept 2021 in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
