Mercedes V-Class Marco Polo makes its debut at the Düsseldorf trade fair!

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class Marco Polo model has its trade fair premiere at the Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf, the pioneer for mobile homes and caravans, within a specific exhibition stand of the manufacturer. The exhibition starts on today (August 25, 2023) and goes to 3 September. The Mercedes-Benz exhibition space is in Hall 16. The updated V-Class Marco Polo presents itself with a modern appearance and increased comfort and utility, primarily due to increased smart, digital integration, ideal for a noble van life experience. A key feature is the outdated exterior design, characterized by a newly conceived, eye-catching radiator grill and a newly designed one front bumper.

The extra AMG Line Design package decorates the grille with an LED light strip and the adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlights give the V-Class an additional visual flair. The rear also shows a new one bumperNew LED lights and one Chrome trim bar with the Mercedes-Benz logo. Added new ones Alloy wheels and different color options.

Interior and exterior design updates

And the interior design has also been refined. Highlights are the new dashboard with two 12,3 inch widescreen displays, modernized air vents and an updated steering wheel with capacitive hand-absence detection. A new Center console also allows an optional wireless smartphone charging. Additional comfort features include an optional Heated steering wheel and dimmable Backlight. Ambient lighting, which is now also optionally available in the rear sliding door for the first time, offers individual lighting atmospheres with 64 colours. And a significant advance is the integration of the current MBUX generation with additional functions such as ENERGIZING comfort control or augmented reality navigation.

Intelligent mobile home thanks to the MBAC interface

The V-Class Marco Polo is transformed by the interface module Mercedes-Benz Advanced Control (MBAC) into an intelligent mobile home. About the Cockpit display or App various camping functions can be controlled centrally. What is new is the option of switching off irrelevant functions when camping with the push of a button or the vehicle with the AIRMATIC Smart Air suspension level when standing on uneven ground. And the safety and assistance systems have been expanded again and partly revised. The proven Space concept the new V-Class Marco Polo is retained. The bus still has room for up to four occupants and includes standard features such as a Elevating roof with roof bed, a seat/lounger bench, a folding table, a fully equipped cuisine and one Cabinet.

T-Class with Marco Polo module:

Transforms the T-Class into micro campers.
Module consists of bed unit and optional kitchen unit.
Other optional features such as an additional battery, a sleep package, window bags, a table and camping chairs.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter:

Four models will be presented at the booth.
Introduction of the blind spot assistant for all Sprinter-based motorhome types.
Mercedes-Benz Advanced Control is also integrated in Sprinter motorhome conversions.

Electromobility and the future:

Introduction of the new "electric-only" architecture VAN.EA from 2026.
Electrification of the motorhome portfolio based on VAN.EA.
