Officially - Morris Commercial JE as an electric van

In October, the British start-up company had Morris Commercial Ltd, the New Morris JE Bulli as electric car announced and now he is officially presented. And the virtual teaser pictures did not promise too much. The fully electrically powered delivery van, designed with the help of Chinese sponsors, looks stunning and is unmistakably ajar against the J-Type built between 1949 and 1961. Although the design is adapted to the ravages of time, the basic idea is immediately obvious. And also the technical parameters fit so far. The lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 60 kWh should provide for about 320 km range and can be charged in 30 minutes to 80%.

And as then, the current model for the vehicle size is extremely spacious. The cargo space is almost 5,5 cubic meters, which equates to approximately a base area of two Euro pallets. And since the JE is on a modular platform, could in the future even more variants such as a pickup, a van, a minibus or even a Camper arise. Only a variant with burners will probably never exist, according to Morris Commercial. Morris jumps on the train of electromobility with the JE and is convinced of its future. With a price of almost 70.000 € it should be the JE but have a hard time. Even if it is said that 1000 vehicles are already in the planning stage and should come on the road as of 2021. Nevertheless, 2 offers new VW T6 vans. If we get more information soon, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is simply ours Feed subscribe to.
