A Mansory-crafted vehicle is usually modified from the ground up and, in addition, lets the performance jump into sometimes exorbitant heights. And exactly this concept met now also the Mercedes-AMG GLS63 (X166) with full force. For a rough description is true new sporty accessories, a powerful performance upgrade and an exciting body design the nail pretty much upside down. In detail, of course, the whole is much more expensive! With a new sporty elegance, the MANSORY look is shaping the new design of the GLS. Immediately, the larger air intakes in the new front apron fall on the in conjunction with integrated daytime running lights and a carbon fiber front lip the GLS 63 an even more aggressive face miss. Added to this is a weight-optimized bonnet with its air intakes already suggests that the V8 underneath is probably anything but standard.

It continues with imposing widenings for the front wing by 25mm and on the rear axle by a whopping 40mm in width. They are largely responsible for the even more brawny overall impression of the design makeover and harmonize perfectly with the standard design of the GLS. Of course, new side skirts are also part of the repertoire and these were modeled in such a way that they calm the airflow along the flanks and also make the SUV appear even deeper and more elongated. And there are also changes at the rear because Mansory installed a discreet roof spoiler on the tailgate to reduce the lift forces on the rear axle. The whole thing is combined with a diffuser rear apron which provides additional downforce and has a central rear fog light. And something has also happened in the huge wheel arches, because from now on MANSORY's in-house rims of the Multispoke type are turning in 22 inches or optionally also the new 23 inch Y5 / 1 design that is installed on the presentation vehicle. This type of rim is particularly light because it was forged and specially made for the increased demands of today's popular SUVs.

Mansory recommends 10.5 × 23 inches with tires in 305/35 format on the front and rear axles. So that the new alloy wheels sit optimally in the widened wheel arches, the tuner offers a lowering module for the standard air suspension, which lowers the center of gravity of the GLS 63 by up to 30 millimeters if required. It doesn't really have to be mentioned that this enables significantly more agile handling and faster cornering. But the most important is definitely the clear one performance increase which MANSORY donated to the GLS. By installing a sport rear muffler, a sport air filter and the in-house chip tuning software, the V8 unit of the GLS 63 now generates approx. 840 hp / 618 kW and incidentally an enormous torque of 1.150 Nm. Incidentally, this ensures that the top speed is increased by approx. 45 km / h compared to the production vehicle, which automatically puts the GLS in the league of various athletes. While the standard GLS with 585 PS & 760 NM torque is able to accelerate from 4,6 to 0 km / h in just 100 seconds, the Mansory version should certainly do the whole thing in under 4 seconds. Completely crazy values ​​when you consider that a 2.5t colossus is being moved here.

And the interior can also be completely refined on request. A highlight is the ergonomically redesigned sports steering wheel that also looks fabulous. The big advantage is the new shape, which ensures that it lies much better in the hand and still enables all functions. In detail, in the MANSORY upholstery shop, the valance is covered with the finest leather and fitted with applications made of exposed carbon. The important thing is that the look matches the other colors of the complete leather interior.
