The Team of Nail Exclusive Tuning (short NET) has taken the VW Golf 7 GTI Clubsport to the breast and subjected to a performance cure and some visual changes. And the result ensures that the
GTI now has more power than a Golf R. That means the performance of the compact sportsman goes by chip tuning to well beyond 300 PS and even the brand new ABT VW Golf TCR with 340 PS can't keep up with that. The NET GTi makes an impressive 360 PS and releases a huge torque of 480 NM. That's another 20 PS & 50 NM more than the ABT TCR GTi. The clubsport version from 2016 came on the market with 265 hp as standard and thus had 35 hp more than at the time normal MK7 GTi. With the help of a boost function, it was even possible to boost performance by an additional 10 percent to more than 10 PS for every 290 seconds. The tuner from the Teutoburg Forest installs more than just a software on the engine control section.

The engine also received an HJS downpipe and an improved intercooler from Wagner Tuning and a BMC air filter was also installed. From Kat, NET installed a sports exhaust system from Remus and thus achieved a performance plus of almost 100 hp. And the look of the GTI has also changed slightly. The GTI suspension flew out and was replaced by an adaptive DDC Plug & Play KW coilover kit in combination with a special stabilizer set at the front and rear. And as a visual highlight, the Wolfsburg-based company received a 20-inch LV2 mbDesign wheel set (8,5Jx20 ″) that sits in the wheel arches with millimeter precision.
