One thing is certain, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 never looked so good as it does now. The aggressive front with the double headlights is extremely high aggressive and particularly striking. Especially in comparison to the rather boring Ford design of the current F-150. And the GM pickup also tops the country's bestseller when it comes to performance. But only because it uses a much larger engine. The Silverado 1500 is with 6,2 liter V8 available and puts 420 hp and 623 Nm torque on the road. The F-150, however, “only” has to be content with a 5,0-liter V8 and delivers a maximum of 395 hp and 542 Nm (400 lb-ft). According to Chevrolet, the “best V8” is still not enough for some. And there comes Walkinshaw performance in game. They just published a clip on Instagram showing an engine upgrade using a compressor. But only acoustically! In terms of the official information, that was it. Compared to the series, however, we can expect a significant performance boost.

And if Walkinshaw performance with Holden under the name HSV - Holden Special Vehicles - the V8 actually equipped with a supercharger, then around 500 kW (680 PS) and a good 900 NM are feasible. The upgrade would fit in with the two currently available packages. There are currently various 18 or 20 inch rims available with matching tires, there is a new one Bremsanlage and also one 2-inch lift kit and a Sports exhaust system are already available. Walkinshaw is currently keeping a low profile on the release date. But if the key data are confirmed, then the Silverado 1500 would be the most powerful Pickup on Australian roads and one of the most powerful of the world.
