Power and style from Wimmer on the current Porsche Macan

Reading time 3 Min.

An SUV & Wimmer racing technology meet again. At the end of May, the tuner from Solingen came with one 310PS VW Touareg 3.0 TDI around the corner and this segment is currently continuing. And now you have done a great job with the currently published and of course modified vehicle without falling out of the ordinary. All those who are not in the mood for serial production on the current Macan will be able to help from Wimmer. As far as the tuning measures inside, outside or with regard to optionally installed technology and interior details are concerned, we have made ourselves smart and at least learned the most important changes for you. The Macan definitely stands out from the production model with a significant increase in performance. Thanks to software optimization, a whopping 441 PS (= 324 kW) and 640 Nm torque are raging in the Macan, and thanks to the new 22-inch SCHMIDT Revolution Shift rims, they are being brought to the road in full.

Incidentally, one of the main changes is a Wimmer sports exhaust system that makes the whole sound audible. We were able to identify the main changes by looking closely at the pictures and, of course, Wimmer announced the most important details. However, we may not have discovered a small detail, because sometimes we don't see the "forest for the trees" either. Everything that we could find in the pictures and received as information from the tuner, we present you below in the usual manner in a summary. If you recognize any further modifications that are different from the production model due to the conversion, please write them to us in the comment box below this post. We would be happy about it and would like to add to the article in this regard.
