CarPoint Yellow Edition based on the 2023 Dacia Duster!

Today I want to introduce you to a very special vehicle that caught our eye recently: the Dacia Duster Carpoint Yellow Edition. The Duster is a popular SUV that impresses primarily with its good price-performance ratio and off-road capability. But what happens if you lower it, give it 20-inch rims and paint it a bright yellow? The result is the Duster Carpoint Yellow Edition, an exclusive special edition from the German dealer Carpoint that gives the Romanian SUV a sporty and eye-catching look. And the tuning changes that were made to the yellow Duster are quite extensive.

It impresses with five-spoke 20-inch black alloy wheels with low-profile tires, which are rounded off with yellow accents, giving it a wider track and improved road holding. The significantly lower chassis height lowers the center of gravity and gives it a more dynamic silhouette. There was also a striking yellow foil, which skilfully harmonizes with the black plastic on the body parts. The "Carpoint Edition" graphics on the rear side panels and exclusive "Carpoint Edition" emblems on the fenders indicate the limited edition. A black shark antenna also adorns the roof. Finally, a front bumper, running boards on the sides, black twin exhaust pipes and a grille with Dacia emblem in yellow embellish the Duster.

the equipment is also decent

The cabin also received a set of stainless steel door sills and velor floor mats. The Duster as Carpoint Yellow Edition is not only an eye-catcher, but also has a decent equipment. It is based on the TCe 130 model with a 1,3 liter turbo petrol engine that delivers 150 hp & 250 Nm of torque. It has a manual six-speed gearbox and all-wheel drive. The standard features include air conditioning, an Android car radio with navigation system, rear parking aid, heated seats, cruise control, an on-board computer and a start-stop system. The price for the special edition is €33.990. It's certainly not to everyone's taste, but it shows that the Duster can do more than just be a practical but visually boring all-rounder.

  1. This is not a 2023 model. You can recognize it by the ventilation nozzles inside and at the rear with the old logo. Only the grille with the new logo was installed, so it looks “newer”.
So visually it's more of a blender. Technically 2022 (although nothing has changed in 2023 except for the visual changes).

  2. Bien joli ce Duster! If you remember the new logo on the calandre, you can also see the changer also on the volant and the fair carrément disparaitre à l'arrière! Pour parfaire vehicule, il aurait été de bon ton d'agrémenter un peu l'intérieur, qui est bien drab all en gris. En tout cas, j'aime quand même.
