Registering a car after moving: what needs to be considered?

As with most administrative procedures, various documents are required when re-registering the car. These include:

HU (proof of a valid main inspection by TÜV, DEKRA etc.)
AU (test certificate of the last emissions test)

It is important that all open traffic offenses are settled in advance. Furthermore, outstanding costs, such as outstanding vehicle tax payments, should also be settled before the date. Otherwise the re-registration of the vehicle can be refused.

What deadlines does the legislature provide for?
