According to the latest study, more powerful diesel pickups with large-displacement engines are probably a much greater threat to the environment than originally thought. As "The Drive“Reported a recent study by the Office of Civil Enforcement of Environmental Protection Agency found out that modified diesel pickups have had a massive impact on air quality in America. Based on the EPA study, an estimated 500.000 tuned diesel trucks produced as much emissions as 9 million (!!!) Series vehicles. The report goes on to say: "The tuned trucks emit more than 570.000 tons of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and 5.000 tons of fine dust (PM) over the entire service life of the vehicles."

Is this kind of "tuning" worthwhile if you do permanent damage to nature, yourself and others? Definitely not!
