YES !!! Application for speed limit rejected by the Bundestag

Due to the extreme heat, more and more heat speed limits are currently being imposed on the motorways because of so-called "blow-ups", but the Bundestag has recently rejected a fundamental application for a fixed speed limit. So we continue to enjoy being able to legally spur our own vehicle with Afghanistan and Djibouti. In any case, this is good news for car fans and petrolheads, which we also welcome. The application submitted by the Protestant churches of Central Germany to introduce the general speed limit was rejected. After all, the application, which was also sympathized by the Greens, received a good 66.000 signatures that have been collected since March this year.

FDP, AFD and the Union do not want ...

The left and the SPD would have had no problem limiting the speed to 130 km / h. It helped but nothing because the application was abmettert. Also because the FDP and the Union showed no interest at all in the speed limit. And that's just as well. After all, the limit demonstrably does not help to reduce traffic deaths, nor does a speed limit contribute to climate protection. After all, a third of German motorways are already provided with a speed limit, and the remaining two-thirds are only the fewest vehicles with more than 130 km / h on the way. For now, Germany will continue to be a paradise for high-speed disciples.
