BMW has recently proven it all again: The M4 Coupé is still the benchmark when it comes to performance on the racetrack. Neither does the new one stop there Audi RS5 still the strong one C63 AMG from Mercedes-Benz. The M4 was designed by the guys from Cars South Africa (Cars.co.za) put through its paces in a comparative practical test. To do this, they accelerated all three models on the Killarney Raceway, the popular car racing line in Cape Town (South Africa). The M4 won ahead of the RS5 and the C63 AMG. But the M4 Coupé is not only convincing in terms of performance and driving dynamics as a delicacy, the BMW viewer is also visually under its spell. More is hardly possible, right? “Yes!” Say the suspension specialists at H&R. You can now also offer the height-adjustable spring system (HVF) for the popular M types of the medium series. As a partner of BMW Motorsport, H&R has been equipping all DTM cars with high-quality suspension springs since 2010.

H&R has now incorporated this know-how into the development of the HVF spring system, which is available for both the M4 and the M3. The HVF system can be installed in models with an optional adaptive chassis, but also in the BMW standard version. No matter which variant it is - the series dampers are retained. The H&R HVF system ensures that the vehicle's center of gravity is now adjustable in height, 20 to 40 millimeters at the front and between 10 to 30 mm at the rear (values for M4). The system can also be installed in the M4 Clubsport version and the M3 sedan. If you have decided on an M4 convertible, you can choose from coordinated and configurable components under the H&R article number 23003-2 for the open temptation.
