No, there is no Porsche 991 GT2 RS (2017) with 700 PS & 750 Nm torque! This vehicle is a 911 (991) Turbo S that has been converted to the look of the top model. This example retains the factory all-wheel drive (The GT2 RS with 7-speed dual-clutch transmission has only rear-wheel drive) and also the back seat for the transport of the children is still installed (GT2 RS has no back seat). And the modified front bumper, the bonnet and air vents or the side skirts of the GT2 RS were not modified by a third party. Porsche has done that and also ensured that the air intakes and the air outlets on the 911 Turbo S continue to function to their full capacity. And that also applies to the fixed 991.2 GT3 rear wing.

Porsche 911 (991) "TurboRS"

This was set a little lower with modified brackets to fit more with the style of the 911. Only the rear apron, apart from the "turboRS" lettering, still seems to correspond completely to the series. Whether it will stay that way or whether the 2 will still get the look with the two large round tailpipes of the GT1 RS is currently open. We still have some information about the beautiful aluminum with central locking. These do not come from Porsche but come from the shelf of the manufacturer Vossen wheels. It is the type GNS-XNUMX that we already have on TAG Motorsports 991.2 GT3 have seen. Specifically, it is a dull gray version which perfectly fills the wheel arches in the dimensions 21 x 9,5 inch front and 21 x 12,5 inch rear.

with Techart springs for lowering

This makes them identical to those of the real GT2 RS on the rear axle, and even 1 inches larger on the front axle (GT2 RS has front 20 Zöller). In addition, the chassis of the Turbo S was equipped with Techart sport springs that allow a lowering of 20 mm. And something has already happened under the hood. The 3,8-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with double turbocharging received, among other things, a modified intake and revised turbocharger and currently has an impressive 680 PS & 850 Nm torque. For the future, however, completely new turbos and nitrous oxide injection are being considered with the aim of achieving over 900 hp. If we get more information about this, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
