Having recently given you the spectacular 1989 Porsche 911 Targa-Speedster from DP Motorsport have presented the company from Overath with the next hit. A legendary Porsche 965 Turbo in black with a displacement of 3,3 liters and built in 1992. This vehicle was in series production for the first five years and then DP Motorsport made the first changes. The company was responsible for the conversion to the 935-dpIII racing car replica in polar silver including "street legal"! The paint is in the same color as the Porsche 965 (third body extension) was built only 5 x and celebrated many successes in German motorsport with the driver brothers Jürgen and Uwe ALZEN.
The paint dress comes on the 935er with color stripes and completes the spectacular body parts made of high-quality fiberglass with reinforcements made of carbon fiber impressive. And of course, there was also a significant increase in performance. From now on about 450 PS (= 330 kW) rages in the single piece thanks to the three-piece RH alloy wheels in cup look be consistently put on the road. All this is audible by means of hand-crafted stainless steel sport exhaust system (see video below) which is built into the rear diffuser with two large central & chrome-plated tailpipes. The exact dimensions of the wheelset are 9 × 18 inches with 245 / 40-18 tires on the front axle or 12,5 × 18 inches with 335 / 30-18 slippers at the rear.
The setup of the chassis is rounded off with a coilover kit from H&R including uniball dome bearings and adjustable aluminum strut brace. And finally, of course, you couldn't leave the interior untouched, so there was a lot of new here too. A leather interior in classic gray with many black accents is installed and even an airbag sports steering wheel and a clubsport roll bar have found their way into the 965. In our opinion, the optical highlight are clearly the 935 lollipop seats, which are also convincing in classic gray & black and keep both the driver and the passenger firmly in the saddle.
Incidentally, a few months ago, the 935 went to a sports car dealer in Miami (Florida / USA) and will certainly disappear in a well-heated exhibition there. It's a shame actually ... If we receive timely information on other changes not mentioned before, there is of course as always an update for this report.
