BMW Z4 M40i (G29) - AC Schnitzer gives him 400 PS!

After AC Schnitzer Supra is in front of the Z4! Or something like that ... Open, sporty, unadapted - the vehicle concept of the new BMW Z4 is consistently geared towards agility and driving dynamics. With the performance enhancements from AC Schnitzer, BMW Z4 drivers can still improve in terms of sportiness. Anyone who thinks that the 340 PS of the M40i can no longer be more dynamic will be taught a lesson with the performance increase from AC Schnitzer and a whopping 400 PS. The BMW tuning specialist from Aachen will shortly also be “sharpening” the BMW Z4 20i and 30i models with performance enhancements, and those who want can also choose the optional engine optics for all models. A 3-year guarantee is of course included when the BMW Z4 rolls out of the workshop in Aachen. All other tuning elements have also been developed in a consistently sporty manner.

For the exhaust, AC Schnitzer sports rear mufflers with "Sport Carbon" or "Sport black" exhaust covers for the Z4 M40i with 2 end caps in right / left combination (4 pieces) are available. The Z4 20i and 30i can be equipped with an end panel in right / left combination (2 piece). If you value agility and driving dynamics, you will also have the highest demands on the chassis. This meets AC Schnitzer on the Z4 M40i with a height-adjustable RS coilover suspension. The sporty tuning and the high residual spring travel allow driving comfort, which tunes the Z4 absolutely suitable for everyday use. Performance adjustment in train and pressure as well as a lowering front and rear by 25 mm compared to the standard chassis make the racing feeling perfect.

With the AC Schnitzer suspension spring set, tuning fans can also lower the vehicle by 25 - 35 mm (front) and 20 - 30 mm (rear) on the Z4 20i and 30i. The Z4 M40i scores points with a lowering of 15-25 mm (front) and 15-25 mm (rear) compared to the production vehicle. Improved downforce is the goal when developing the AC Schnitzer aerodynamic elements for the Z4. The AC Schnitzer front splitter, which is easy to assemble and can be used without further painting, brings this downforce to the front axle. At the same time, the 2-part rear spoiler increases downforce on the rear axle. The AC Schnitzer Bonnet Vents are only permitted in Germany for actual racing purposes; however, they significantly improve the exhaust air situation of the engine. AC Schnitzer side skirts, on the other hand, also ensure the suction effect and the sporty look in traffic.

Update

News from 25.11.2020

We discovered a Z4 from AC Schnitzer in the chic Misano Blue. The Z4 M40i Roadster was exhibited in the Abu Dhabi Motors showroom and the AC Schnitzer kit was painted in body color. There was a front splitter, side skirts and a two-piece rear spoiler. Only with regard to an increase in performance we currently have no information.

 

There may be an update with information and pictures soon. If this is the case, we will of course also put it online and inform you about it.
