Not that there is an inherent reason to complain: Compared to many other brothers in the SUV range, the M BMWs of the X-Class drive at a high level. But the entry into the "Mission Dynamics" is much better with the new H&R sport springs than with the series configuration. By lowering the vehicle's center of gravity by 30 millimeters on the front axle or 15 millimeters at the rear, not only does the brawny look of the X3 M40 gain, the sportier driving behavior also underlines the dynamic demands of many BMW drivers.

More direct steering and reduced lateral inclination in fast corners are in the specifications of the H&R sport springs, without noticeably reducing the ride comfort of the X3. The X3 M40 is even more confident with H&R "Trak +" wheel spacers. These are available in silver or black from 22 to 60 millimeters (per axle) and enable a precise alignment of original and retrofit wheels on the fender edges. All H&R components are 100 percent Made in Germany and are always supplied with the necessary parts certificates.
