Tuning your own vehicle is a dream of many car and motorcycle enthusiasts. But the possibilities in Germany are quickly exhausted and events in the Netherlands or a trip to the GTI meeting at Lake Wörthersee become wishful thinking with the tuned car. But am I even allowed to drive my vehicle abroad with conspicuous add-on parts and technical changes? Are the tuned parts also allowed abroad? which Regulate do I have to consider? Are some of my tuning parts even banned? What penalties should I expect? In general, one can say that the European countries have agreements with one another through which the registration certificates of motor vehicles are mutually recognized.
Tuning car abroad

With the tuned car abroad - what is allowed?
