The lithium batteries from LIONTRON convince in the market with their maintenance-friendly design. All components, such as the cells, the electronic battery management system and the Bluetooth module, are screwed together - not glued or welded. If a component has to be replaced, this can be done without any special tools. The modular and sustainable battery design also makes the new 300 Ah underseat battery a safe and long-lasting investment. And not only because of the technical advantages of LiFePo4 technology compared to AGM and GEL batteries, but also because of the five-year manufacturer's guarantee and the option of purchasing battery components from the manufacturer, opening the battery and replacing defective parts 10 years later .

Due to the small, specially tailored dimensions of 349 x 349 x 190 millimeters (L x W x H), the new underseat battery is particularly suitable for use in motorhomes for installation in the driver and/or passenger console. The poles are arranged laterally. Installation in the seat base is uncomplicated and the battery does not get in the way of the swivel seats above. In this way, a battery capacity of up to 300 Ah can be generated under one seat - with a second LIONTRON under the other seat in parallel connection up to 600 Ah. The new LIONTRON is also suitable for use on boats and yachts.

Fully-fledged lead-acid battery replacement with a longer service life

In practice, a 300 Ah LiFePo4 battery provides the same charging capacity as a lead battery with 600 Ah. Because a LIONTRON can be deeply discharged - in contrast to a lead battery, which should only be discharged to 50 percent. The special highlight: The new model has a capacity of around 315 Ah, which allows a net discharge of around 300 Ah, while a few percent remain as a reserve in the lithium battery to ensure smooth operation and the lithium cells to protect. 200 A discharge current can be permanently drawn from the battery, which corresponds to approx. 2,5 KW output. In addition, the LiFePO4 battery with 300 Ah weighs only 34,7 kilograms and that is only a fraction of a comparable lead battery. With over 3.000 charging cycles, the new battery is extremely durable.

In general, the existing charging and discharging infrastructure does not need to be replaced when replacing an AGM or GEL battery with a LIONTRON. However, if you want to use the battery's rapid charging capability (150 A), it is advisable to install a powerful battery charger with up to 150 amps. This allows the battery to go from empty to fully charged in 2 hours. The integrated battery management system (BMS) with adaptive cell balancing regulates the charging and discharging currents fully automatically and protects against short circuits, overcharging, excessive discharge and excessively high/low temperatures. The appropriate LIONTRON Multi App (iOS and Android) automatically displays the various parameters of up to four selected LiFePO4 batteries in total or individually: including the state of charge, the current capacity, current and voltage of the batteries connected in parallel.

5-year guarantee and 10-year spare parts service

If the battery does become damaged, it can be repaired quickly and inexpensively by the LIONTRON manufacturer's workshop or even by the customer himself within the scope of the five-year guarantee and after the guarantee has expired. The constructive basis of all LIONTRON batteries is the so-called "3 x 5 minutes" concept. Firstly, this makes it possible to open each battery within five minutes and test it for errors. Secondly, every component can be replaced in another five minutes. Third: After another five minutes, the battery is assembled and ready for use again.

Can be used in the LIONTRON Arctic version down to -30 °C

The new 300 LIONTRON is optionally available as an Arctic version. It can be charged and discharged at sub-zero temperatures. The LIONTRON 12.8V 300 Ah Lithium LiFePO4 underseat battery with Bluetooth is now available from specialist retailers for 2.765 euros.
