Westfalia Wave: The return of the popular brand to North America!

Westfalia, a renowned name in campervan building, is making its big comeback to the North American market after a nearly two-year hiatus. This time the brand is bringing a modern and innovative campervan called Wave onto the market that promises a versatile and spacious mobile living experience for up to six people. The Wave is based on the tried and tested Ram Promaster 3500 chassis, a reliable platform that forms the basis for many campervan conversions. The sturdy “foundation” allows for a spacious and comfortable interior with an impressive length of 249 inches (6,32 m).

The interior layout combines European style with North American sensibilities, providing a modern and functional space. It turns out to be a changeable one seating, which turns into a bed, a comfortable one Sitzgelegenheit, a fully equipped Bathroom and a functional one kitchenette. But one of the most impressive features of the Wave is its sleeping capacity. A Queen size bed in the rear offers space for two adults, while a Doppelbett in the seating area and one mounted on the roof pop up tent provide additional sleeping accommodations for four more people. This makes the Wave the perfect choice for families or groups of friends looking for a spacious and comfortable camping experience.

The Wave is with one Smarthome control equipped for convenient operation, ensuring a hassle-free camping experience. The van also offers plenty of storage space throughout the interior, including one Center aisle, a versatile one trunk with a pull-out section as well as numerous Cabinets and subjects. The Wet area the Wave also includes a Cassette toilet, a Shower and a Truma Combi Water heating/heating system, which offers all the amenities for a comfortable stay.

Tablet-based control center

The Wave is tablet based Firefly touchscreen control center equipped with which various functions such as the electrical system and air conditioning can be easily controlled. The van also has a powerful Electricity system with 600 amp hour batteries and a 3000 watt inverter. Unfortunately, pricing details for the Westfalia Wave haven't been announced yet, but we expect it to be slightly higher than other Ram Promaster campers. The van is expected to be available in the US in the second half of 2024.
