Almost all car enthusiasts can also be passionate about motorsports, so it is not surprising that the number of vehicles that Track tools be rebuilt, steadily growing. But many car fans and tuners no longer just want to Show-and-shine contests take part, but also do one or the other fast lap on the racetrack, and thus build vehicles that are ideally suited for use on the racetrack. One of you is Mark Riccioni (markriccioni.co.uk) from the UK, who works full-time as an editor and photographer. In 2020 he fulfilled his dream of having his own Ferrari track tool and we would now like to introduce this vehicle to you.

Limited special series!

Just 200 pieces were from the 360 Modena Challenge built street legal. In addition, it is the first series from Ferrari, which was created directly from the factory in Maranello as a motorsport vehicle. All previous series only became track tools, which were suitable for use in motor sports, with subsequent conversion kits. The vehicle was originally delivered to Japan in 2000 and used in motorsport there until 2009. For this, the Ferrari received an additional one from the specialists from K&M Speed bodykit and a large rear wing to be well prepared for use in racing. The chassis was also overhauled by the ICS Motorsport crew and has, for example, adjustable motorsport dampers.

A little JDM Style also moved into the racy Italian, because Rays Volk Racing TE37 forged wheels in 18-inch format were installed on the vehicle. The finish is bronze and the rims are fitted with Yokohama Advan A052 tires measuring 255/40R18 on the steering axle and 295/35/R18 on the drive axle. Furthermore, the bolide got a 360 N-GT front apron, side skirts from 360 Challenge Stradale and plastic side windows with motorsport sliding windows. And for optimal deceleration from high speeds, a revised Brembo brake system with slotted, two-piece brake discs should not be missing.

The Ferrari has a racing cockpit!

Racing bucket seats from Recaro with the model name Pole Position, a Sabelt sports steering wheel Quick release hub and Alcantara upholstery, an LCD dashboard display, carbon fiber door panels, an FIA six-point roll cage and other sporty features testify to the car's Tracktool intent. In addition, all comfort and safety features in the interior such as radio, air conditioning, airbags or electric windows have been removed.

A 3,6-liter high-revving V8 petrol engine powers the Ferrari!

The legendary V8 petrol engine is also produced in the Modena Challenge version 400 hp and only 373 Newton meters of maximum torque. That may be low by today's standards, but its infernal sound is definitely still addicting even in this day and age. Unfortunately, we don't have any precise information on the driving performance, but the power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an automated six-speed F1 gearbox.

Our conclusion:

  • A toy for big children and a real dream for all Ferrari fans that Mark Riccioni made come true. For that we give praise and a thumbs up. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
