Bitter evil - pitch black 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air V8!

A week ago we talked about the dream 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air with LS3-V8 from the tuner RMD Garage reported. With a beautiful metallic red paint finish and lots of chrome accents, the classic was in a fantastic condition. RMD has yet another Bel Air on the legs, which is the visual opposite. Also a vehicle from 1956 but completely in matt black. On Instagram under the profile #matte black tunicorn (Link below) there are countless pictures of the vehicle, which of course is also completely restored and rebuilt from the smallest screw. Only the color black was used for this specimen. And that on every millimeter of the dreamlike body. Only the glass of the indicators and the rear lights bring some color to the body.

LS3-V8 with air intake system

The rest is completely wrapped in deep evil matte black. And that even applies to the beautiful specially made Raceline-Wheels Desperado "Outlaw Series" aluminum rims, to the LS3-V8 engine under the long hood and also to the handcrafted black leather interior. The vehicle was originally manufactured for the SEMA Auto Show and, as far as we know, it was completed in 2018. Like the aforementioned Bel Air with the surname "Legacy'56", this model also relies on a significant lowering by means of a completely new four-link suspension (with adjustable Ridetech air suspension) and here, too, the LS3-V8 is helped, for example by means of an air intake system or a specially manufactured Borla sports exhaust system, for a significant increase in performance. We do not currently know whether it has more or less than the 450PS of the "Legacy'56". However, this only plays a subordinate role in view of the spectacular appearance.

Leather interior from RMD Garage

After all, with its evil look, the vehicle should polarize and not invite you to turf, but rather to cruise. In view of the dreamlike leather interior from RMD Garage, this will probably work for many hours. And amenities such as air conditioning, a steering wheel control or a modern hi-fi sound system expand the possibilities with this Bel Air even longer journeys, for example to a tuning meeting, to go on even further. And finally ... A beautiful one-off that reflects the high standards of RMD Garage and is legitimately one of the company's flagships. If we receive timely information on further changes or important details on the restoration and the general structure, there is of course an update for this report.
