Green dream on wheels: 2001 Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabriolet!

A very special piece of jewelery is currently for sale. A 2001 Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabriolet with just 31.000 miles on the odometer that makes its home in the city of Portland, Oregon. And the G is more than just a car. It's a piece of history wrapped in a stunning green robe that doesn't hide from any challenge. Previously it was painted in silver. And the G49.890 Cabriolet is also a real power pack. Under the hood is a 500-litre, 5,0-hp V8 that works in tandem with a five-speed automatic transmission and two-speed transfer case for effortless off-road and on-road performance.

The V8 can also be heard acoustically via a Brabus silencer system. But what really sets the G apart are the three locking differentials that make it the real make off-roaders. Externally, the car shines in an eye-catching green paint finish. Together with the black 20-inch alloy wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires (size 295/45) and the electric black top, a visual balance is created that is both elegant and robust. And to top it off, the front sports a black bull catcher with Hella fog lights attached.

But the G500 also has a lot to offer inside. A black leather interior creates a luxurious ambience, complemented by bird's-eye wood trim on the dashboard, center console and multifunction steering wheel, while heated electric front seats and heated rear seats ensure comfort even on colder days. And parking is child's play thanks to the rear parking sensors. And the technology is not neglected either. The G500 is equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled Alpine CD sound system and a McIntosh amplifier, which ensures excellent sound.
