Eye-catching Pontiac Fiero GT with Lamborghini doors!

The Ultrace 2023 in Poland was recently dominated by an exceptional vehicle: a gray painted Pontiac Fiero GT in a glass case, fitted with Lamborghini doors to everyone's delight. The unmistakable car was made by Mariusz Michalski designed and built, and he spared no effort to win the grand prize. With its tailor-made wide body, which includes new aprons, a front spoiler with special side brackets and flaps, sill swords, a rear apron attachment and a rear spoiler, the unique car is a real eye-catcher. All of these adjustments are carefully matched to the lines of the Fiero to create a seamless and conditionally eye-catching aesthetic.

Other special features are new carbon rear-view mirrors and a rear apron, which is equipped with four round tailpipes. The custom-made multi-piece OZ Racing rims, with polished wells and central locking optics, which sit in the wheel arches, give the Fiero a certain flair, especially in combination with the extreme lowering and the slight camber style. The rear is also characterized by a black tail light strip with red illuminated Pontiac lettering. As far as we know, the 2,8-litre V6 engine remains original and delivers reliable power.

And a peek inside reveals an all-new look too, with a bright yellow cage and bespoke aluminum console. There are also matching STR racing seats with naked frame harnesses from Sparco. The door panels and the rest of all trim have been removed and instead we find aluminum pedals and a MOMO sports steering wheel with white stitching. It is also noteworthy, if we recognize this correctly, that there are neither side windows nor a rear window installed in the rear part.

a highlight among the Ultrace participants

The combination of all the elements has helped this extraordinary car to capture the attention and admiration of Ultrace participants and spectators like no other. A deserved winner, then, this Pontiac Fiero GT! If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report.
