Classic reinterpreted: Toyota HiAce becomes the Dodge A100!

The Toyota HiAce, which has enriched the streets since 1967 in countless variants from minivans to taxis to ambulances, has been made available by the Japanese tuning company TSD styling get a whole new face. With a specialized focus on HiAce vehicles, TSDstyling, a branch of the T-style group, now transforms the Hiace into reminiscences of the classic Dodge A100Van. TSDstyling, which is dedicated to revitalization, customization and the used trade, has a particular soft spot for the HiAce. And her latest prank is a T-style HiAce body kit, which is clearly inspired by the design of the old Dodge compact van. Due to the angular shape and the distinctive front section, TSDstyling sees the HiAce as the perfect basis for creating a homage to the A100. The focus of the transformation is mainly in the front area.

Toyota HiAce - Dodge A100 Swap

There is a brand new one in front apron and instead of modern rectangular headlights, two round ones now shine Copies with chic chrome frame in the style of the A100 from the 70s. But the details were also fine-tuned: one Chrome grill dummy adorns the lower area of the front apron, Chrome strips decorate the doors and even the rearview mirror, and also portholes in the side windows underline the retro look. Even the Rear lights shine in a new, nostalgic design. That is not to be forgotten Interior, which the tuning company optionally equipped with artificial leather upgrades. The result is no longer a simple vehicle - it is a complete package that makes the scene sit up and take notice. However, the T-style HiAce appears to only be available as a complete rebuild and not as a single kit. If you want to, you have to dig deep into your pocket: A recently sold HiAce went for the equivalent of about 29.100 EUR over the counter.

Airride air suspension & retro look rims

Despite the impressive visual change, the performance remains untouched. However, such a HiAce conversion usually has a Airride air suspension and Retro look rims im 15 inch format. Under the hood slumbers the engine of a 5th generation HiAce, built from 2004, with four-cylinder engines between 2 and 3 liters displacement and an output of around 140 hp. So whether minivan, bus or panel van, the Toyota HiAce once again proves its versatility and TSDstyling shows how to bring an almost forgotten treasure back to life from a classic.
