Since Octavia RS or the "Normal" Kodiaq we know that the tuner ABT Sportsline also has a tuning program for the Czech VW subsidiary. But so far we only knew that the team from the Allgäu offered various performance enhancements below the "RS" vehicles. But it appears that an upgrade from ABT Sportsline is also available for the RS model. The tuner is currently selling a vehicle from 2019 that has received an increase in performance from the 240 PS & 500 NM strong VW EA288 four-cylinder to 270 PS & 540 NM. So an upgrade from 30 PS and 40 NM that reduces the acceleration to country road speed to about 6,8 seconds. However, according to ABT, the top speed does not change and remains at 220 km / h.
AEC - ABT Engine Control - control unit
The tuner achieves the increase in performance by means of the known AEC - ABT Engine Control - control unit which can be installed using the plug-and-play method. And visually something has changed about the strong Czech. The vehicle, completely wrapped in black, received a 20-inch ABT wheelset in combination with a lowering by lowering springs, which not only enable a sportier gait, but also ensure a more aggressive appearance. We currently have no further details on the ABT RS Kodiaq. Just the info that used it should cost almost 57.000 euros.
