Bollinger Motors yesterday presented in a livestream the four-door all-electric sport utility truck B1 and at the same time also the electric pickup truck B2. The vehicles are Beta prototypes which are an important step in the direction of the production vehicle. First there is the four-door electric SUV Bollinger Motors B1, which is officially the world's first all-electric off-road and on-road truck. The four-wheeler jeep comes with useful features, such as the ability to carry excess cargo through a tunnel due to a tunnel and even a power outlet for tools is installed in the trunk. The B1 and the B2 are on the same truck platform of the 3 class that the start-up has already developed 2017.

B1 & B2 with all-aluminum chassis

They have an all-aluminum chassis and an electric drive system with 2 engines (one per axle) acts as a drive. The gearbox is a 2-speed gearbox for the Hi / Lo range and the key data reads quite impressive. The B614 should have a stately 906 hp and a torque of 1 Newton meters and thus more power than a Mercedes G63 AMG of the current generation. The key data is sufficient to spurt to 4,5 km / h in just 100 seconds and continue to accelerate unabated up to an electronically governed top speed of 160 km / h. Another trump card of the B1 & B2 is its good off-road capability. The Stromer has a ground clearance of a maximum of 50 cm, which is achieved by means of adjustable suspension (Remote Control) is freely adjustable and can be lowered to a minimum of 25 centimeters. The empty weight is just under 2,3 tons and the trailer load is Bollinger with about 3.400 kilograms.

The e-drive is powered by an 120 kWh battery pack, which should only be used in the top model. A range of more than 320 kilometers is not unrealistic, but not confirmed by Bollinger Motors. Furthermore, there are also 2 smaller battery pack sizes with 60 and 100-kWh. There was also no new information from the manufacturer. And the Bollinger B2 is also particularly suitable for off-road slopes. It is basically identical to the B1 but just a typical pickup truck with cargo area. As a result, the B2 is longer than the B1. Both vehicles have a cab reduced to the essentials. Should be called large screens or plastic should be barely available. The B1 and B2 are said to be just driving and working cars and 2021 is already on the market.
