BMW recently launched the second generation of the X1. From the factory it is now equipped with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission as standard and with nice gimmicks such as optional full-LED headlights, lane departure warning, traffic jam assistant, collision and pedestrian warning with city braking function, the small Munich SAV brings a little upper-class flair to it . The Dähler Design & Technik GmbH team is of course aware of the popularity of the compact SUV and has therefore put together a tuning package for the second generation. The SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) has so far been neglected by other tuners in the accessories and optimization area and this is exactly what the company from Belp near Bern takes advantage of.

With the comprehensively optimized and individualized complete vehicle “DÄHLer competition line”, the X1 comes to the highest level and there are (almost) no limits to individuality. The highlight is the performance increase "powered by DÄHLer" to up to 270 PS / 420 Nm (in the X1 25i) which is tested according to the Euro 6 standard and is CH / EU homologated and gives the X1 unimagined power reserves. The performance plus of the B47 diesel engine with standard 231 PS is similarly strong and allows the Dähler to gain 260 PS & 490 NM torque.

Of course, the smaller expansion stages and engines B37, B47 and B38 & B48 can also be optimized (Details below). In order for the extra power to be heard, Dähler also offers in-house sports exhaust systems in various versions and variants, which bring to the X1 a sporty, sonorous sound, with DÄHLER-typical sound. For diesel vehicles is beyond the well-known Active sound system available. It continues with perfectly coordinated suspension solutions (sports spring set, height-adjustable sports suspension, etc.) and complete suspensions that are often adjustable in height and hardness, making the X1 more dynamic and sporty and firm (but never harder).

All suspension solutions come with a lowering that ensures that the DÄHLer CDC1 alloy wheels in 20-inch (different versions available) sit perfectly in the wheel arch. The tuner achieves the last millimeter of accuracy of fit in the wheel arch using various spacers, which of course come with DTC reports. The body is also given a front spoiler lip, which can only be installed with the optional sports package, as well as a sporty rear diffuser and various panels and new mirror caps. All components can be supplied in elegant carbon fiber on request.
