Fifteen Eleven Design brings the classic model back to the asphalt with modern touches! It took three years, but the wait was worth it. The Fifteen Eleven Design team has the production version of their announced state-of-the-art Porsche 914 Restomods presented. The designers dug deep into their bag of tricks and reinterpreted the legendary 914 as a mid-engine roadster with a Targa roof. The result: A tribute to the once unpopular Porsche model that is now turning heads. The car, which was first teased in 2021, is based on the Porsche Cayman S and is used by one 3,8 liter boxer engine powered by it after a major overhaul 380-400 PS brings. To achieve this, were strengthened Interior parts, forged Piston , and a Life Racing engine control unit installed.

More than three times the power of the original 914 now drives the 914 forward. But that's not all: a Six-speed manual and for perfect handling on the road are three-way adjustable Coilover shock absorbers from Heron responsible - components that are otherwise more familiar from World Rally Cars. And anyone who now thinks that it's all about performance is seriously mistaken. The Restomod impresses with Porsche Brembo four-piston calipers, perforated and ventilated discs and a AP Racing Pedal Box System. And a lot has also happened in terms of design: Away from the Pop-up headlights, towards modern projector LED lamps.

Since the Cayman engine is water-cooled, the front bumper and the bonnet be modified. This is to make room for the cooler and Oil Cooler to accomplish. Nevertheless, that remains removable Targa roof received - but now in a transparent look, which provides more light in the interior. And that Interior is the right keyword.
