Regarding the current Ford Mustang GT, the American tuner Hennessey Performance is slowly but surely fighting its way up. Based on the already modified Shelby GT350R Mustang already existed HPE 575, and the HPE750 and HPE800-Kit whose names each stand for the performance. And now there was a first video and a few pictures of a Shelby GT350R Mustang that got an HPE850 kit. On the dynamometer, the potent pony shows that 870 PS & 958 NM torque can now be easily conjured up from the 5.2 liter V8 and it is probably only a matter of time until we have the first HPE1000 kit in the style of the Dodge Charger Hellcat or Chevrolet Camaro Z / 28 get to see.
But the HPE850 performance improvement is already beyond good and evil. So equipped it is in only 3,3 seconds on 60 mph and after 10,8 seconds is already reached the end of the quarter mile. When you consider that radical Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is only a good second faster, these are the values for a fully equipped Mustang with normal tires (no special drag wheels / tires) all the more remarkable. The details of the changes to the Shelby GT350R Mustang:
- HPE800 performance kit (2,9 liter compressor system, forged pistons and connecting rods, carbon high-flow intake pipe, HPE engine management calibration, improved fuel pump)
- 870 PS & 958 NM
- Optional: Hennessey Carbon Bodykit (front spoiler, side skirts, diffuser, rear spoiler)
- Sport exhaust system (info is pending)

- unknown black alloy wheels in an estimated 20 inches
