Is the ultimate killer coming here soon? The American tuner Hennessey brings performance, after the legendary Hennessey Venom GT, now again an absolute hammer on the road? A vehicle that outclasses the brand new Bugatti Chiron and overshadows the Koenigsegg Agera RS? Both cars have recently competed and showed off their skills, with the better end for the Agera RS.

But a first teaser video from Hennessey Performance rightly casts doubt that one of these two vehicles will still be the fastest street-legal vehicle in the world after the upcoming 2017 SEMA Auto Show (October 31 - November 3). The objective is extremely high: "We want to build the fastest road legal vehicle in the world". This is exactly how the teaser video for the Hennessey Venom F5 begins, which could probably reach the 300 mph sound barrier.

And unlike the Venom GT, which was almost a mutated Lotus Exige, comes the F5 with completely independent, and meticulously tested in the wind tunnel, body and a typical sports car design. Carbon wherever you look, a fat V8 with huge turbochargers, a single-clutch transmission (less weight) and rear-wheel drive. In addition, a total weight that undercuts the Bugatti Chiron by about 500 kg and the overall concept F5 more than just impressively rounded.
The official unveiling is to take place live on the SEMA Show on November 1st at 11:00 a.m. on the Shell Pioneering Performance Stand and broadcast on Hennessey's YouTube, Facebook & Instagram channels.
