This beautiful Ferrari 308 is a real restomod! Hardly recognizable at first glance, the Italian athlete is equipped with a large number of ultra-modern components from the present. The vehicle was made by the company Greater and is the tuner's first completed project. And this is going through the roof in the network. And rightly so. The conversion is phenomenal and leaves the classic design of the 308 almost completely untouched. The modern components underline the design impressively and almost certainly even Ferrari itself should be impressed by the one-off. Maggiore's "product" is called the official one Ferrari 308M and is mechanically heavily modified in addition to the subtly changed look. Maggiore claims to have completely redesigned the body of the 308M and made it from carbon.

The carbon is only visible in small details such as the integrated front spoiler, the side skirts or the diffuser on the rear apron. The track width has increased by 50 mm at the front and even 100 mm at the rear. But this is only really evident when an original 308 is next to it. The new 17 inch wheelset uses specially made custom rims, but here too the classic style of the 308 has been retained. The most noticeable change in the Maggiore 308M only shows up in the dark. In contrast to the original, the Restomod model no longer has hinged headlights. Two narrow LED strips that function as daytime running lights can now be seen below the distinctive ventilation ribs on both sides. And the real headlights have moved into the black radiator grille and now light up the road with four round, almost invisible lenses. And of course the taillights are no longer equipped with the mulled fruit from the 70s, but now with ultra-modern LED technology. However, it still has the well-known round design like the original.
Ferrari V8 now with 300 PS & 300 NM
Maggiore has also redesigned the engine cover and replaced it with a version made of Plexiglas and there was also an upgrade underneath. The factory Ferrari V8 has been completely disassembled, revised and improved. Responsible for what the team from Italtechnica from Turin, which increased the displacement from 2,9 to 3,1 liters and, with a few other modifications, the output to 300 hp at 7.000 rpm. have increased. That is an increase of 48 hp compared to the 252 hp series. At the same time, the maximum torque increased from 250 Nm to 300 Nm from 3.000 rpm. Acoustically noticeable is the increased performance with a stainless steel sports exhaust system with four classic tailpipes. And the chassis of the donor car has also been completely restored and now has a new sports brake system with four-piston Brembo brake calipers with sports brake pads and ventilated 280 mm discs at the front and rear.

In addition, there is a chassis with racing dampers from Koni in combination with adjustable coil springs. And of course the cabin was not left untouched. The interior of the Maggiore 308M still has the classic atmosphere of the original, but since the renovation, every surface has been covered with expensive materials. There was a new center console with modern elements and the door panels are now made of ultra-light carbon. There is also plenty of aluminum, leather, high-quality fabrics and even marble is included. Depending on customer requirements, Maggiore uses countless combinations and materials. And finally ...
