Do you still have this 1992 Land Rover Defender with 480 HP LS3-V8 engine on the screen? The completely new vehicle was built by the tuner OCC (Osprey Custom Cars) and introduced by us at the beginning of the year. And now there is another finished vehicle that is based on a classic Defender and built by OCC. This time, the basis is a closed D110 which has also been completely restored and rebuilt. The vehicle was built in 1993 and has been completely overhauled by the Wilmington, North Carolina company. The body is almost like a new car and of course there was also a new chassis with springs from Terra, a modified steering stabilizer and high-performance tie rods are installed.

6,2-liter Corvette LS3 V8

Like the guys from ECD Automotive Design the 6,2-liter Corvette LS3 V8 with 525 PS and 659 Nm torque and an automatic transmission coupled to it are used for the drive. And the result is that ECD "Project Savage" Defender extremely similar! Conicidence? By means of high-performance drive shafts and a special transfer case, the power reaches 19-inch Kahn-Design aluminum rims in matt black, which are fitted with coarse off-road tires and also house a sports brake system with significantly larger saddles and ventilated discs. More details like state-of-the-art headlights front and rear, one Metal apron at the front including a WARN winch, an LED light bar on the roof, an intake snorkel installed on the top and the roll cage installed on the outside essentially round off the changes to the body.

JL audio system with 10 speakers

And the cabin was redesigned to a similar extent. There are heated sports seats, an Alcantara headlining, new floor mats and amenities such as electric windows, a keyless entry and a completely new JL audio system with 10 speakers, DVD, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, navigation and a rear view camera. The vehicle was wrapped in a brilliant white and skilfully contrasted with many shiny black accents. The result is a dreamlike one-of-a-kind piece that, at $ 189.000, costs almost 4 times as much as the brand new 2020 Land Rover Defender as the base vehicle. If we receive timely information on further changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
