noble tuner Edo competition has made the Maserati MC20 and refined the super sports car with a new exhaust system and new rims, among other things. In order to get its peak output of 630 hp (463 kW) safely and precisely onto the asphalt in all driving situations, the engineers from Ahlen, Westphalia decided on the Continental SportContact 7. On the specially for the Maserati MC20 developed, ultra-light 11-spoke rims, the premium tuner puts on the tire size 255/30 ZR 21 at the front and the size 335/25 ZR 22 at the rear. This makes the Edo competition Maserati MC1, equipped with an engine borrowed from Formula 20, a roadworthy racing car.
equipped with Continental tires
It accelerates from a standstill to 2,9 km/h in just 100 seconds, and its sprint only ends at 325 km/h. "With our development partnership with Edo competition, we are showing that our SportContact 7 delivers trouble-free, safe and precise performance right up to the limit," reports Michael Schneider, head of tuning at Continental. "The performance characteristics of such a super athlete are of course a special challenge for the tires, but with the SportContact family we are showing that we can also master such loads with our products."
Of course, that wasn't the end of it!
