About 2 weeks ago there was the X3 M40i (G01) from the BMW tuner Dähler and in February was already the new one X1 (F48) on. It is therefore logical that the X2 (F39) presented in March of this year must not remain untouched. In our opinion, the brand new crossover SUV is the most beautiful in the X range. But the SUV coupe is smaller, less practical and even more expensive than the X1. So why buy? Because he just looks fabulous. Radiator heads standing upside down, BMW emblems on the wide C-pillar (There was only such a thing on real coupes as the 3.0 CSL) and a line that is more reminiscent of a sporty compact than an SUV.
These arguments are enough for us! The Dähler team, however, saw room for improvement. Above all, of course, an increase in performance. For example, it brings the 190 PS & 400 NM strong xDrive20d to a whopping 220 PS / 450 Nm and is of course tested according to the strictest WLTP / Euro 6d standard and CH / EU homologated. The smaller units 18d, 20d and the current gasoline engines 118i and 120i can also be modified (Information on this below). In the field of exhaust systems Dähler has different versions and variants in stock. There is a large selection of individual tailpipes and, of course, a soundscape with a sporty-sonorous tone and the DÄHLER-typical sound.
The factory chassis is complemented with in-house lowering springs which not only provide for a more stable handling and a reduced roll motion, but especially for an even more dynamic look. If that's not enough, you can also opt for a height-adjustable and fully adjustable suspension that also allows for more suspension in terms of lowering. But the optical highlight is definitely the 20 to 21 inch big DÄHLER CDC1 wheel set from own development and production which is even suitable as ultralight forged wheel for the X2.
The presentation vehicle also got a set of black kidneys from the M-Performance program and the mentioned emblems on the C-pillars have been replaced by emblems with the Dähler logo. Everything is rounded off with large and small lettering on the tuner in various places. It doesn't take more! If we get more details about changes that we haven't mentioned shortly, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
