More steam than the GT500 - 2020 Jack Roush Edition Mustang

Just over a month ago, the American tuner Roush performance first leaked information about the 2020 Jack Roush Edition Mustang. And just in time for the Sema 2019, the potent PonyCar is now completed. The edition is limited to 60 vehicles only and surprises with more power than the current one Shelby GT500. Specifically, there are 775 PS & 908 NM torque that work under the long hood with the two large air openings. At the same time, this ensures that the 2020 Jack Roush Edition Mustang is the most powerful Mustang ever built by Roush Performance. But no fear: Shelby fans can now enjoy the + 800 PS GT500 Dragon Snake send into the race. So somehow everything is the same ... In contrast to the 5,2-liter V8 of the GT500, the Roush variant also retains the 5-liter V8 of the "normal" Mustang GT. But of course this is clearly revised.

Roush Stage 3 - TVS R2650 Eaton charger

The centerpiece is the Roush Stage 3 - TVS R2650 Eaton charger and the new active Roush flap exhaust system with H-Pipe and selectable sound modes. For this purpose, the cooling system was completely revised, there was an air intake system with a viewing window in the air filter box and of course the gearbox and the differential are also adapted to the increased power. And the changes to the limited version can also be seen visually. The Mustang receives the so-called R9 aero package, which subtly underlines the silhouette of the Mustang with a modified radiator grille, lots of air openings, large front splitter and a sporty, aggressive diffuser. The changes are by no means as huge as those on the Shelby GT500 or other modifications at SEMA. Only the actively adjustable carbon rear spoiler immediately catches the eye.

20 inch large forged wheel set in dark gray

Less noticeable is the 20 inch large forged wheel set in dark gray and the subtle lowering. It achieves Roush Performance by means of sports springs in combination with the factory MagneRide chassis which can continue to use all functions. And of course, the brake system has changed due to the extra power. A Brembo-based system is now installed that ensures adequate deceleration with 6 pistons and large perforated brake discs. Rounding out the visual changes with Roush emblems on the fenders, a USA badge in the radiator grille and at the rear of the logo of the tuner may not be missing.

handwritten "Jack Roush USA" signature

The handwritten “Jack Roush USA” signature on the side windows and the USA flags on the right and left side walls also act as a little eye-catcher. And of course something has also happened in the cabin. There are sporty leather-covered bucket seats with Jack Roush signature, a gear lever in golf ball design and of course a badge that indicates the official presentation for Sema 2019 and the limited number of items. If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
