Tuning Trends 2017 vs. 2018 - changes not in sight

Well, a good nine months ago, that's it ZDF info dealt with what the current tuning trends 2017 were and asked us about them. We now wanted to know whether that has changed within the last 9 months. We can tell you - NO! Still the tuning trends of that time are (Widebody kits, foils, performance enhancements, sports suspensions & rims, new interiors) are extremely in demand and can even be confirmed in the same order. Below we would like to show you five prime examples from 2018 which underpin that.

  1. Widebody kit - a very current vehicle is the Mercedes X-Class for the team of Carlex Design (+ Pickup Design) currently one extensive widebody kit for the road as well as the off-road area offers. Also the german tuner Prior Design mixes diligently with components for the X-Class in widebody style.

  2. foiling - The trend to give the vehicle a partially or completely new look within a few hours continues unabated. A foiling (alternatively also Sprühfolierung) is the absolute trend compared to a conventional paint job and can be retrofitted at any time. We remember the crazy one Rocket Bunny Mazda RX-7 or even the Lightning McQueen Dodge Challenger.

  3. performance improvements - It was less than two weeks ago that the Mcchip-DKR team showed us that the "old" Mercedes C63 AMG C-Class on request, can also be on the road with 830 PS & 820 NM. That's just an increase by crazy 373 PS & 220 NM! As a reminder, a brand new Ferrari 488 Pista has 110 hp less. More extreme? How about one 3.000PS Nissan GT-R?

  4. Chassis & rims - The tendency towards new wheel sets in combination with modified chassis is also unbroken. Only today was there one M3 with Airride air suspension Including Forgestar alloy wheels of the type F14 which sat down to the last millimeter in the wheel arch. The vehicle came from the tuner ModBargains. But also discreet combinations like the brand new ones Porsche Panamera GranTurismo with Vossen RS74 rims are asked.

  5. Interior - today the British tuner Kahn Design has that Kahn Range Rover Velar 2.0 D240 R-Dynamic S- Signature Edition presented that trumps with a significantly redesigned interior. Who the interior of his vehicle except for the very last millimeter To dress with Alcantara / Leather or other materials is always in the hands of the Carlex Design team this C43 AMG C class proves.
