Mitsuoka M55 Concept: When a Civic becomes a Challenger!

One more crazy vehicle in the automotive world: The Mitsuoka M55, a concept that improves the appearance of a Dodge Challengers with the base of one Honda Civic united. The unique vehicle was developed by the team of mitsuoka created, a Japanese automobile manufacturer that specializes in... Retro designs like that Rock Star 2.0, the Galue V8 or Buddy is known. The M55 is a tribute to Mitsuoka's 55-year history, combining classic American muscle car looks with the modern and efficient features of a Japanese compact car. At first glance, the design is very reminiscent of the Challenger of the 70s. But upon closer inspection it becomes clear that it is based on the current generation of the Civic based, especially in the side view.

The rear of the M55 is reminiscent of the special tail lights also on the Challenger, while the rear window with louvers is disguised, similar to the Ford Mustang Mach 1 from 1969. An interesting detail is that when viewed from the front, the M55 also shows borrowings from the Lancia Delta Integrale. The courage ends in the interior, however, because the M55 remains largely a Honda Civic, upgraded with retro-inspired blue seats and a Mitsuoka logo at the steering wheel. The technical details of the M55 are still unknown, but it is assumed that the M55 will be different from the standard one 1,5 liter turbo is powered, which is also used in the normal Civic. What's particularly cool, however, is the fact that he's with Manual transmission is available.

Unfortunately no series production planned!

To our surprise, there is currently no plansto build the M55 in series. However, those interested can take a look at the concept vehicle available at Mitsuoka showrooms in Tokyo and Toyama City will be seen. And we are convinced that if there is enough demand, Mitsuoka will have the M55 in one small series build. The M55 is a perfect example of the company's special approach to automotive design. He skillfully combines classic elements with modern technology, creating a vehicle that is both fascinating and unique. An eye-catcher for lovers!
