Typically, this Restomod Project included Motorswap is unique! A fully restored and rebuilt 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer by "Dennis Collins" (Collins Bros Jeep in Wylie, Texas) which carries a very potent surprise under the hood. Neither the Willys six-cylinder "Tornado" engine with overhead camshaft of the first models, the later 3801 cm³ AMC-OHC six-cylinder or even the V8 from AMC with 5,4 liters displacement is installed here. This copy carries nothing less than the 6,4-liter supercharged V8 of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat / Charger under the domed bonnet. A cutting-edge 2018 engine with an insane 707 hp and 875 Newton meters of torque. Even the last built Buick engine with 5735 cm³ of the "Super Wagoneer“Or the 5,9-liter V8 with 144 HP and 380 NM torque originally installed in this car seem almost ridiculous.

enough space was available

And to make matters worse, the engine is even slightly modified. As far as we know there was a change Air Intake System, a specially made sports exhaust system and of course the fuel supply and much more is specially adapted for this vehicle. On the outside, the Grand Wagoneer with the nickname “Hellwagon” shows itself in series condition and impresses in particular with the “Bright Red” paintwork and of course the Woodies wood inlays, which were extremely popular for the time. Even the rims are the factory rims but of course there is a species-appropriate one behind them sports brake system to bring the mighty load to a halt again. And the cabin does not really differ from the production vehicle.

in perfect condition: the cabin!

But it has been restored and is in the state of a new car and even has the selector lever of the then built-in three-speed automatic transmission. It seems like this is still installed. A pretty spectacular vehicle which can even be rebuilt by the American tuner at any time. Because you want it no Single piece remains!
